Dds converter 2

Please log in to reply. I can load it up and it all looks fine but when I press the "Convert" button, the windoe just flickers for a fraction of a sec but fails to convert anything. When I was using it on XP, after I'd press Convert, a new window would pop up to view the conversion and then ask me if I wanted to restart it for another conversion or close it if I had finished It may not have been Exactly like that, I can't remember it perfectly.

But now, on windows 7, it just flickers and nothing gets converted. I have tried converting form just about every format it can handle just to see if it was a format thing but can't get anything to work. I have read the readme and looked on the net but found nothing that helps. If anyone could get help me to get it to work, I would be so grateful. Or if anyone knows of another DDS converter that works on windows 7 or another way to convert them, I would be equally grateful.

Thanks a million, Titan Cronus. So in short, it won't work period unless I get Professional? If this is the case, what do I do now? Like is there some other way I can convert to DDS? Windows 7 Home Premium I don't think it's even in compatibility mode, but yeah compatibility mode probably is your best bet.

Is there a better OP to run it in? Posted 02 October - PM Try using nconvert Google for it , I swear by it although it's entirely command-line based so should work fine. I just tried NConvert and that wouldn't work either. When I try launch the app, the run window pops up for a fraction of a second then disappears.
